Q&A uses theatre to explore and express what life is like for LGBTQIA or straight allied youth in Memphis and the surrounding area. Participation is open to students ages 14-21. No prior theatrical experience is necessary. We are a supportive community working toward a common goal of creating awareness within our city.
WE WANT TO MEET YOU AND YOUR COMMUNITY IN YOUR SPACE!
Q&A is currently looking for organizations within the Mid-South (businesses, churches, neighborhood associations, etc…) who will welcome us to visit your space and have a conversation with you about who we are, what we do, and the greater LGBTQIA community. We are prepared to meet you onsite and host a 30 minute, 60 minute, or 90 minute gathering. This could be for a small group gathering (10-15) or a larger group(as many people as your space allows). Ideal for businesses and churches who are seeking information on how to continue and possibly expand your support of the LGBTQIA community. Each time length will begin with a brief performance of our work to be followed by a moderated discussion.
This is made possible by the 2018 GIVE365 campaign, which Q&A is a proud recipient of funding through. The GIVE 365 theme this year is ‘Reconnecting Memphis’ more information about the GIVE365 program here:
