Adult Summer Acting Workshops

“All true artists bear within themselves a deeply rooted and often unconscious desire for transformation.”

– Michael Chekhov

The Michael Chekhov Technique

The Michael Chekhov Acting Technique is a holistic approach to actor training. Focusing on impulse, imagination, and inner and outer gesture the actor seeks to liberate their creativity by activating their imagination from the outside in. This technique focuses on transformation through psycho-physical exploration. Connecting the mind and body is inspirational and an actor can reach new heights in character creation and performance. The technique offers clear and practical tools in working with imagination, feelings and atmosphere. If you are looking for truth and a deeper meaning in your artistry the Michael Chekhov Technique is for you.

**NOTE** This class will be very physical and highly transformative
