Theatre Education 2016-2017 Touring Series

We are Playhouse on the Square, The Circuit Playhouse, and the Playhouse on the Square Touring Company. Since 1985, we have been providing opportunities for youth in the MidSouth to attend live professional theatre during school hours.   We will begin accepting reservations for the 2016-2017 school year August 1, 2016.

Based on the popular children’s book series, The Cow Who Wouldn’t Come Down, The Pig Who Ran a Red Light, and The Goose Who Went Off in a HuffCow’s Don’t Fly captures a vision of the world were extraordinary things happen on a regular basis. Can Gertrude the Cow play the piano? No problem. Can Miss Rosemary create a homemade cow? Easy as apple pie! Can a lost baby elephant find happiness with a runaway good? You’ll just have to watch and see!

Miss Nelson can’t control her crazy classroom because she is just too nice. But when she disappears, her replacement is the hard-as-nails, detention-loving, recess-canceling, homework-overlording substitute teacher Viola Swamp!
