Heather McNamara – Beautiful, innocent, stupid. Can be mean on command but actually quite vulnerable and fearful.

Heather Duke – The whipped beta dog of the three Heathers, deeply insecure. When she finally becomes Queen Bee she wields power like a bulldozer.

Martha Dunstock – Nicknamed “Martha Dumptruck,” the opposite of confident and popular. Huge and beautiful soul, optimistic even in the face of rejection.

Ram Sweeney – Linebacker. Big, insensitive to the feelings of others, ruled by appetites.

Kurt Kelly – Quarterback and captain. Chiseled, rude, entitled, cocky. He’s the brains of the friendship with Ram.

Ram’s Dad/Big Bud Dean/Coach Ripper – Ram’s Dad is a former football player turned suburban dad. Big Bud Dean is JD’s Dad. Coach Ripper is a “man’s man” football coach.

Voice: Baritone/Tenor. Power country/gospel belt. A#2-Bb2 – G#4-Ab4

Kurt’s Dad/Veronica’s Dad/Principal Gowan – Kurt’s dad is a straight-laced conservative, a simple guy. Veronica’s Dad is easy-going but distant. Principal Gowan is rumpled, burned out.

Ms. Fleming/Veronica’s Mom – Ms. Fleming is an aging hippie teacher, still yearning for the Age of Aquarius, resentful of today’s entitled youth, protective of underdogs. Veronica’s Mom is easygoing but distant.
